1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading our apps from Google Play Store or using any MGate web services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use our services.
2. User Accounts & OTP Confidentiality
- Registration: Your account is registered using your active 10-digit mobile number, verified through an SMS One-Time Password (OTP).
- Security of Credentials: You are strictly responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of OTPs delivered to your mobile phone. You must never disclose your verification codes to any third party.
- Accurate Details: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete profile information and promptly notify your society administrator if your mobile number, flat ownership, or tenancy status changes.
3. Acceptable Use & Conduct
You agree to use MGate only for legitimate residential community and security purposes. You must NOT:
- Misrepresent your identity or pose as another resident, committee member, or security guard.
- Submit fake or harassing visitor entries, erroneous SOS alerts, or inappropriate notice broadcasts.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, crawl, or tamper with the application code, APIs, or infrastructure.
- Use the platform to distribute unsolicited promotional messages or spam to fellow residents.
4. Visitor Approvals & Security Responsibilities
- Resident Approvals: When you approve a visitor, cab, or delivery executive via the MGate Resident app, you accept responsibility for granting that individual access to the society premises and your flat.
- Guard Verification: The MGate Guard app assists security personnel in capturing visitor details and notifying residents. App approvals complement but do not substitute physical security protocols mandated by your society management.
- Society Rules Prevail: All entries, parking regulations, and pet/facility rules established by your Resident Welfare Association (RWA) or Society Committee take precedence over app settings.

6. Service Availability & Connectivity
MGate relies on wireless cellular connectivity, mobile push notification services (Google Firebase Cloud Messaging), and local internet providers. While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we are not liable for temporary service delays, network interruptions, or missed gate push notifications caused by poor mobile reception, device battery optimization restrictions, or carrier outages.
7. Intellectual Property
All software, designs, trademarks, logos, texts, graphics, and system interfaces associated with MGate are the proprietary property of Visha Technologies and protected under copyright and trademark laws. No rights or licenses are granted except for personal, non-commercial use on your mobile device as permitted by these Terms.
8. Termination & Suspension
We or your society administrator reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform if you violate these Terms, cease to be an active resident or guard in the society, or engage in activities that compromise community safety.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Visha Technologies and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from unauthorized visitor entries, neighbor disputes, network failures, or inability to use the platform.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
