Account & Data Deletion Request

Google Play Store Data Safety Notice: In compliance with Google Play's user data policies, MGate allows all users to request the permanent deletion of their account and associated personal information either directly inside the app or through this web portal.

Option 1: Delete Directly Inside the Mobile App

If you have access to the MGate Resident or MGate Guard app on your smartphone:

Open the MGate app on your Android or iOS device.
Go to the Profile / Settings tab from the bottom navigation bar.
Scroll down and tap Account Settings.
Select "Request Account & Data Deletion".
Confirm with your OTP to immediately schedule your account for permanent closure.

Option 2: Submit an Online Web Request (If App is Uninstalled)

If you have uninstalled the app, moved out of the society, or do not have access to your smartphone, please complete the verification form below:

What Data Is Deleted?

When your deletion request is processed:

Personal Identifiers: Your name, phone number, email, and profile photo are permanently expunged from our database.
Authentication Credentials: All active sessions, passwords, and cryptographic authentication tokens are revoked.
Push Device Tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens associated with your devices are removed to cease all notifications.
Saved Preferences: Domestic staff links, vehicle numbers, and pre-approved entry passes tied to your profile are erased.

What Data May Be Retained?

Certain historical operational records may be retained in anonymized or pseudonymized form strictly as required by law or legitimate community security purposes:

Historical Gate Logs: Timestamps of past vehicle entries or deliveries recorded by security guards are retained by the society administration for safety audit purposes, with personal phone numbers redacted.
Financial & Maintenance Receipts: Invoices and transaction references required under statutory accounting, tax, or society audit guidelines.

Processing Timeline

Your request will be acknowledged immediately. Following SMS identity confirmation, your personal data will be completely wiped within 7 business days.
